Ally Sheedy
Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy, born 13 June 1962 in the United States is an actor. Following her film debut during the 1983 film Bad Boys she became known as one of the Brat Pack actors. She was also in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club (1985) and Short Circuit (1986). Her performance in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998) Sheedy was awarded the Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Leading Actress. Ally Sheedy was born in the US and is both an actress and an author. Her movie career started in early 1980s when she starred in the crime drama film, Bad Boys. Rick Rosenthal directed the movie, which also featured popular stars Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown Alan Ruck. Following her success with her debut film, she also appeared in the comedy drama film The Breakfast Club. The film directed by John Hughes is considered one among the most memorable high school films of all time. Although the film's budget was just $1 million, the film's profits were more than $50 million. Between then the actress began appearing on various TV shows, including CBS Schoolbreak. It was her first appearance on television. It was a show for teenagers and first aired in April of 1980. Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid and Hill Street Blues were some other shows on television that featured her in. A few of her most recent appearances include Little Sister and X-Men Apocalypse which is a movie about an X-Men superhero, where she is an appearance. Sheedy has received numerous awards for her outstanding performances, which include the MTV Movie Award Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
