Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes (born May 25 in 1970) is an American actress, best recognized for her role as detective Stella Bonasera on CBS's police procedural drama CSI: NY, Dr. Sydney Hansen and Lane Hunter respectively on NBC's Providence drama, and the medical thriller The Resident. The actress also won acclaim for her television debut breakthrough as Eleni Andros Cooper in the CBS soap show Guiding Light. A few of her most memorable films include 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and The Olympians: The Lightning Thief and Snitch. The Wheel of Life by Elisabeth Kubler Ross, the writer of the Immortals film Immortals will be adapted to the large-screen. She will be working alongside Vlas Parlapanides as well as Charley Parlapanides. In addition, she is filming a brand new television series titled Gods & Heroes.
